(Monrovia, July 9, 2020)- The Press Union of Liberia has released its Thirteenth Quarterly Media Alert Report.  It recorded six (6) attacks including threats for the months of April, May and June. The PUL Media Alert Program is part of the Liberia Media Development being implemented by Internews with funding from USAID. It gathers information relating to threats and attacks on journalists and other actors on account of speech or related journalistic activities. Through this program, the PUL has been following up the causes of such attacks, and the feedbacks and responses by government and related authorities.

This Media Alert Program is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at protecting journalists and media workers in Liberia to a new height.
